Biography
Joana Lukasik obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2021 from the University of South Alabama. Joana has experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner caring for acute care patients of all ages, as well as working as a hospitalist with internal medicine patients.
Prior to obtaining her NP degree she worked at UNC Pediatrics Hospital, UNC Emergency Department, Wake Forest Medical Center, and NHRMC providing care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics. With her vast experience, she aims to provide a comprehensive and caring approach to the patients who she serves.
Joana moved to NC from Louisiana in 2005 with her husband, and they have 3 children. She enjoys spending her time with her family, traveling, being outside, and buying plants. She is a LGBTQ friendly provider.
