"One of my goals is to be able to take time to listen to each patient; this, combined with a focus on evidence-based medicine, is critical for quality patient care. In addition, it is my privilege to work with a dedicated staff, most of who have been with me for more than 10 years, so we are able to really get to know our patients."

"Dr. Burkett is an amazing Family Medicine physician who has always gone above and beyond to give me the best care possible. She impresses me at each visit with her ability to listen, be compassionate and to be informed about the best options for my situation. Patient

"Recently I saw Dr Burkett for a sharp, throbbing pain shooting down my leg. I had applied ice, I had applied heat, I had covered it with Biofreeze to no avail. After checking my leg top to bottom she determined that there was nothing wrong with my leg, the pain was originating in my back. Thankfully, Dr Burkett doesn’t just treat the symptom, she doesn’t stop until she finds the cause of problems and then administers the correct solution. Physical therapy was started right away which helped but just putting the ice where it did the most good was the best. Dr Burkett had an MRI done within two weeks which reviled two “squished” vertebra and off to pain management I went. I am happy to report that between the physical therapy, ice and pain management I am now walking upright and have great prospects for full recovery. I must express my sincere appreciation for Dr. Burkett and her whole teams care."
