Biography
Christopher A. Hess, MD is a Harvard-trained board certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Management Specialist. With over 17 years of military experience in key leadership roles and over ten years of medical experience in several leadership roles, Dr. Hess’s experiences bring a unique set of attributes to Wilmington Health. His crisp perspective and Harvard-training has given him the assets to treat a multitude of pain sources from the spine, major joints, headaches, and intractable chronic back and leg pain through the exciting worlds of Neuro-modulation and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Hess obtained a Medical degree at the Indiana University prior to heading to Boston’s Harvard Anesthesia Residency and Pain Management Fellowship programs at the prestigious Brigham and Women’s Hospital. While at Harvard he was involved in academic leadership positions as well as serving as Chief resident that helped form his practice attributes and his patient first care model.
Clinical Interests
Spine, joints, regenerative medicine utilizing platelet rich therapy and autologous stem cells, headaches, and Neuro-modulation of the spine to treat intractable back and leg pain.
